It’s been about three weeks since our last update. Following the last treatment, Danelle has fell right back into her typical resourceful and nurturing role in our house. The removal of the tumor has literally (and figuratively) been a weight that has been lifted.
Life since the last chemotherapy session has been very full. The kids are as busy as ever, Danelle has been very involved in her work, AND she recently started a new job! Her energy level has been high and she has gone for walks/runs through the neighborhood.
On Friday (Apr 14th) she will have her fifth round of chemotherapy. It takes a great deal of courage to continually put yourself through something, that you know is good for you, but is not pleasant at all. That is where we are. But she is glad to know that this treatment is getting the microscopic portions of the cancer.
Thank you for your thoughts and your petitions to God for Danelle. Thank you for reaching out to her and being there for her. Thank you for supporting our family. We have been, and continue to be, humbled by our family and friends.
Please pray for:
⁃ that the cancer continues to go away
⁃ for courage to go through this hard task of chemotherapy
⁃ that the doctors/staff continue to make great decisions and provide great care
