The week after the treatment started out similar to the last one. Danelle was hoping that the Christmas Holidays would happen before she became tired when the chemo kicked in. She is a great planner and we were able to have an enjoyable Christmas with family. Afterwards, the fatigue set in and she rested for most of the rest of the week. Overall, this round of side effects may have been a little harder to deal with. But she handled it well, yet again.
This week she has felt better and has had great energy. The weather has been very nice, so opportunities to take walks have been plentiful. On Monday she knocked out a three mile walk at a really good pace. She’s has spent some time with friends and rang in the new year with family. This week has been a blessing.
We covet your prayers. If you are able, please pray for:
⁃ that the therapy continues to do it’s job
⁃ that the area of cancer is shrinking
⁃ that she continues to gain strength and energy
