Good morning everyone! Rachel here with a quick update: We are two days away from chemo. Danelle and Barron are anxious to get this show on the road and start shrinking these most unwelcome nasty tumor cells that have taken up residence in the abdomen. Rachel is anxious to make sure that while they are doing the hard work of fighting cancer, their friends can do the (not so) hard work of feeding their sweet family. I have set up a meal train and will attach the link below. Danelle’s parents made it safely yesterday and want to take care of the meals for at least this week. Please take a look at the link and if you have any questions, I attached my phone number.
Now for the most important part: what can you be praying these next few days specifically?
Barron is sick (not covid) but still nothing we want Danelle to be around right now. Therefore, he is not going to be able to go to the first chemo session. Pray that he feels better quickly and can discontinue his quarantine so they can be in the same room to support one another again.
Please pray for this chemo to attack like it has never attacked before and for Danelle to feel relief as the tumor shrinks from the abdominal discomfort she’s in.
As always, pray for the kids and for the whole family to feel a peace that surpasses understanding and overwhelming love from the Lord and the community around them.
In true Danelle style, when the rest of us would be kicking and screaming, she has started journaling all the verses and inspiration people are sending her. Please keep them coming and thank you for your support!
