We were originally scheduled to meet with Duke on Wednesday, Nov 23rd. But, by the grace of God, an appointment opened up on Friday, Nov 18th. We met the team and they went over the data that had been collected so far. From their evaluation, the cancer seemed to be ovarian, and there were traces that were seen around Danelle’s liver. They then began going over the proposed treatment plan which consisted of three rounds of chemotherapy, surgery to remove the cancer, and then more chemotherapy to remove anything left behind. Next steps: Have a CT scan done for the upper portion of her body and to have a biopsy completed. This will confirm the type of cancer and if there were any signs of it elsewhere. We were scheduled for Tues Nov 22nd.
